Badminton Term 4

This term Room 5 are learning badminton. Today we started with controlling balloons and next week we move onto shuttle cocks. Here are some photos from our PE this afternoon.

Practical Measurement

Much of what we do in Year 2 and Level 1 for Maths is practical based activities which teach students concepts and application. Over the past two weeks Room 5 have been completing a number of measurement problem solving tasks to learn skills and practice of measuring accurately in standard and non-standard units.

Values - Connected Explorers who Contribute

Today Year 1 and 2 completed a scavenger hunt around the school to reinforce our current focus on our new school values of Connection, Exploration and Contribution. The students were connected via holding a rope to stay together as a team, they needed to answer clues and explore our school as well as contribute ideas to the team.
